This comic has been in reserve for quite some time now. It’s the second comic on my to-do list, and the first comic was crossed off immediately because I drew it right before making the list. The reason it took so long to get to this comic is because a) it’s longer than four panels, b) it seemed a bit out of place and didn’t seem to match the tone I wanted when trying to lure a first audience, and c) most of the little boy characters I have are based off children of some of my close friends, so it would be awkward to kill any of them. This is where good ol’ childhood friends Winston and Peterson come in. They sure make things a lot easier.

Whenever I get a comic like this where the secondary punchline is funnier than the comic itself (at least to me) I really feel bad for the newcomers or people who just randomly stumble upon this site that don’t know about the hovertext. Lately, hovertext has become a more common staple of webcomics to the point where it’s becoming almost expected, but I still feel bad for the poor souls who lose out on 40% of the laughter here. The other 60% are comics and Cooking Mama.
This bald guy is literally the simplest, plainest design I could possibly use for a regular human. He’s helped me out of many situations where I didn’t want to use my brain in my younger years and it’s nice to finally give him a name. It’s about time he got something nice coming his way. Shame his friend couldn’t get the same treatment though.
Squirrels are fun little creatures. It’s estimated that millions of today’s trees are planted by forgetful squirrels. Of all the diseases they carry, rabies is not one of them, so you bubonic plague nuts can rest easy. Also, I hear they’re pretty tasty, which may seem cruel, but cute faces don’t make cows any less yummy either. If you find any that sing though, as well as any other rodent, the obvious answer is to make them sing pop songs, cause it’s not like little animals that can talk and even sing must have some sort of insane brainpower that could be studied to advance science and understanding of brain functions and possibly advance other fields. Nope, Disney songs is where it’s at.
Isn’t learning fun?!
Lots of busy stuff going on for me, but the wackiness can’t stop. You should all know how much I like simple jokes. Throw in the old escape plan of simply combining two previous scenarios and you’ve got webcomic gold. Enjoy the simple wackiness.
So there’ve been a lot of stuff going on with me lately. I got a new overnight position and have a crazy nocturnal schedule now. I also spent the last few days moving and handling a bunch of stuff, which really killed my Internet and comic time but I somehow managed.
Probably the biggest change, as some of you may have noticed, is saying goodbye to my beautiful cat today. I’ve had her for nine years this month, currently half my lifetime. After losing my home I was forced to move to some place in the middle of nowhere, and everyone seems to be against pets, so I couldn’t take her with me. It was truly one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, and I feel for anyone out there whose ever had to give up a pet. If anyone’s ever been to a local pet shop, particularly the big names like Petco and Petsmart, then you’ve probably seen the sad little kitties meowing at someone to take them home. If anyone’s ever felt sorry for them, then you’ve probably never been to the regular shelters where they keep the pets most of the time. It truly was a horribly sight, seeing all those poor little things sticking their paws through the cages hoping you’d take them home and save them, and my baby’s one of them now. She clinged to me tighter than ever before and I will always remember her and hope she remembers the fun times we had instead of thinking I abandoned her.
So yeah, if anyone’s wondering why I’m not as whimsical as I usually am, you know why. But the show must go on. These comics aren’t just something I do in my free time. I consider each and every one of them important work and very serious business. There shall always be funnies for those looking for a laugh. I’m sure those of you who care more of the behind the scenes work and such will still appreciate knowing how much I’m going through to get you your comics. Neither depression nor lack of stable Internet will keep me from my loyal fans who got Fruit Incest where it is today and will hopefully continue to move us onwards.
Also, to those of you who seem to be managing fine in this world of failing economies, there’s no harm in considering adopting a pet. You never know when you might find a cute little thing who was stuck without a home and left behind due to cruel fate that needs your help. You might even find someone as cute as this little angel.
Take care, sweet Amber. Your mommy misses you.

Today might be the last chance I get to spend the night playing with my poor Kitty. Sorry if I get a little teary-eyed but I believe she more than deserves a second dedication. I only wish real life cats could be won over with milk. No matter what happens, I shall always love you my sweet little Kitty.
I also hope you guys don’t mind the occasional dedication comic with a minor heartwarming moment. They can’t all be laughs. Sometimes we just need to love and cooking mama.
I feel the need to make a quick non-FIniverse comic every once in a while. Unfortunately I’m not as big a nerd as I should be and there aren’t many other things I keep up with other than video games and 90s memorabilia. Still, I guess it’s nice knowing I have something I could fall back on, and sooner or later I’ll run out of video games and have to do an overnight nerd cram session to come up with new jokes. Until then, enjoy the little interludes to the ongoing adventures of several people and weird things that are mostly unrelated but still fun together.
Also, Sonic looks weird in Fruit form. The typical Sonic character desing does not work well with other art styles as times and mine is no exception. No matter how hard I try I can’t make a Fruitified Sonic the Hedgehog without sacrificing either mine or Sonic’s trademarks. A sad tragedy.

Who doesn’t love slinkies? They’re just so awesome. I wish I had a slinkie right now, but I don’t. Once a slinkie’s been unslunk, it will never slink again. How sad. And yes, I know the proper spelling is “Slinky”, but I have to say slinkie for some reason. It’s too fun not to say slinkie. Slinkie! I shall never forgive the world for taking away my “slinkie”.

Also, I’m running out of friends to give cameos to. Hopefully at least half of them realize they’ve made appearances in magical fruit form.
